HASBRO AND NINTENDO CELEBRATE 35 YEARS OF SUPER MARIO BROS
New Jenga and Monopoly from Hasbro and Nintendo feature Mario Bros
Hasbro and Nintendo have teamed up to launch a series of board games for Mario Bros.’s birthday. It is a new version of Monopoly and Jenga where the best adventures of the most popular plumber are remembered.
New Mario Bros Monopoly for its 35th anniversary
This 2020 will celebrate 35 years of the arrival of Super Mario Bros to the world of video games. And several brands have already joined the celebration, including Uniqlo and Levi’s in the textile industry.
But something else is missing, directly related to games, this time table games. That’s why Hasbro and Nintendo have joined forces to bring the world of video games to the physical, launching a new Monopoly and Jenga with Super Mario Bros and their friends. With which they add another pair of games to the previous collaborations within the field of entertainment.
The Monopoly in question is an anniversary celebration edition and includes several very nice details. These include sounds in a box with the classic Mario question mark. As well as a design that highlights the different designs that Mario has had in history. Highlighting the pixelated evolution to newer titles with 3D modeling
On the other hand, the Jenga shows a brick design and different interchangeable characters. This together with a game mode where random skill with a roulette wheel stands out.
Both games will be available on Hasbro starting August 1. Jenga and Monopoly costs are $ 20 and $ 30 respectively.
ASTERIX AND OBÉLIX XXL 3 HAS ARRIVED IN NOVEMBER
After the second part in 2005 Asterix and Obélix XXL returns to consoles
Asterix and Obélix XXL 3 has arrived on consoles in November along with a collector’s edition. This game is released almost 15 years after the second part was published for the PlayStation 2.
Throughout history, the comic strip created by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo has had several games. Becoming a classic that brought the two characters together on the NES in 1999.
However, its history in video games goes back to the eighties where everyone had their game in Atari. Thus giving an expansion to the world of comics shown until then.
The main scoop in all their games was to manage to defeat some enemies in platform games. Encountering allies and a bit of Gallic, Viking, Roman, and even Egyptian history.
This third installment of the Atérix and Obélix XXL series bears the name of “El Menhir de Cristal”. And it promises to be a triumphant return to the series for next-gen consoles. Since it Is available for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
The main plot of this new story is to go in search of a unique treasure with Asterix and Obelix. This quest aims to seize a mysterious menhir with great power.
The gameplay is in a third-person 3D platform, thus giving many ways to see the game. And it preserves its classic characters as well as its powers and main characteristics.
So far an official trailer is known where you can see a little of the gameplay. Asterix and Obelix XXL 3: The Crystal Menhir will hit consoles on November 21.
